OK, so it’s not the be-all and end-all of web editing packages, but I do hold out hope that it will only get better. It’s pretty limited in that you can’t make a page use a different URL to it’s name - for instance, the About Us page, I’d rather have it’s url just use the word about, rather than About%20Us. It’s hard to move pictures around inside frames, or Masks. You can turn a Mask off, then on and resize it, but I can’t figure out how to move a picture around inside it’s picture box.
Exporting is also a bit of a problem - it seems to export the whole site each time you do an export, rather than just the changes, so then when I upload it to my webspace, I pretty much have to upload the whole lot each time. I hope that if you shell out the cash for dot mac that the Publish button only uploads the changes. Maybe I gotta figure out how to set up a homebrew dot mac server and leverage the functionality myself...
Lastly (for now, anyway) these images I’m heading each blog entry with, they’re included at full resolution with the site, and the XML feed of this blog contains a direct link to the full resolution image. Why?
